Why Different Wick Size Is Important?

Wick size plays a key role in how well a candle burns. The correct wick allows the wax to melt evenly and supports a steady, controlled flame. If the wick is too thick, the candle may burn too hot and too fast, which can lead to a large flame and soot. If the wick is too small, the candle may tunnel and leave unused wax along the sides. Choosing the right wick ensures a cleaner burn and better candle performance.

Paraffin Wax together with an equal part of Microcrystalline Wax, is used to preserve wooden hive boxes.
Best used with an equal part of Microcrystalline Wax to raise the flashpoint of the molten wax.

ParaffinWax together with an equal part of Microcrystalline Wax, is used to preserve wooden hive boxes. A hive that has been paraffin dipped is expected to last up to 20 years.

For increased safety, best used with an equal part of Microcrystalline Wax to lower the flashpoint of the molten wax.

Pine rosin is a dried and cleaned part of the resin obtained from pines and some other plants, mostly conifer trees. It is a brittle and transparent brownish or yellowish substance added to wax compositions to make the mixture elastic.
