Kneading sugar and protein into a stiff feed by hand is slow, heavy work once you are feeding more than a handful of hives, and a bee feed mixer takes that job off your hands. Our Königin mixers are made to blend bee-feed cake and sausage evenly, so every portion carries the same mix of ingredients. Both are semi-automatic machines built from 1.5mm AISI 304 stainless steel, with a lid safety lock for safe running and a tiltable bucket that tips the finished batch straight out.
Choosing a bee feed mixer comes down to batch size. The 50kg model has a 750W motor and weighs 55kg, a sensible fit for a sideliner making up feed for one or two apiary sites at a time. The 85kg mixer steps up to 1100W and 65kg for commercial operators supplementing many colonies through a dearth or ahead of spring build-up. Both run on 230V power.
For ingredients, our bee nutrition supplies include UltraPro protein supplement and ProSweet syrup in bulk pack sizes. If you trap your own pollen, see the dryers and cleaners among our Königin pollen processing machines, and the rest of the line under Königin honey equipment.
