A self-turning honey extractor removes the slowest part of a tangential spin: stopping the machine to reverse every frame by hand. In these Königin auto-turn cassette extractors every frame is held in its own cassette, and once the first face is spun out the cassettes swing round so the second face meets the barrel wall, all within one programmed cycle. Drum, basket and outlet use AISI 304 stainless throughout.
Choose by frame count and frame height. The 4, 8, 10 and 14-frame models all accept both full depth and WSP, but only the 8-frame also lists Manley and Ideal, so look there if you harvest mixed supers. The 4, 8 and 10-frame machines offer full-auto pre-programmed timing or semi-auto control, while the 14-frame self-turning extractor is full-auto only. Each is wired for 230V, or can be ordered with 12V DC drive. At around 40kg the 4-frame suits a growing hobby apiary, while the 70–75kg larger machines are aimed at sideliners, and each ships by crate or pallet to a TOLL or TNT depot near you.
