Picking an oxalic acid vaporiser from the Oxalika line comes down to two questions: how many hives you treat in a round, and how you would like to load each dose. All three cordless models here are made in Italy, take a dose you set anywhere between 1 and 4 grams, and draw power from an 18V lithium-ion tool battery through an adaptor chosen when you order.
The Oxalika Mini Sprint is the compact option, rated for apiaries of up to 50 hives. It weighs 0.85 kg without a battery and needs 3–4 minutes to heat, and a platinum sensor holds the factory-set temperature, so there is no display or dial to adjust. The two PRO cordless models are built for 500 hives or more, reach temperature in about two minutes, and their insulated aluminium boiler copes with cold weather and wind. On the PRO Sprint, a spring plunger drops each dose and a 2g cycle takes around 25 seconds. The PRO Smart pairs that plunger with a Smart Valve, so the next dose can be loaded while the last is still sublimating. The Mini cannot take that valve, so decide before you buy.

The Sprint system features an adjustable spring-loaded plunger that lets you select the desired dose from 1 to 4 grams by simply turning a knob. The process is simple and fast:
- Extract the plunger
- Pick up the oxalic acid
- Insert it into the chamber and press the knob
Sublimation starts immediately. With a 2g dose, the cycle can be repeated every 50 seconds.

Fast Heating and Status LED
The vaporiser reaches operating temperature in just 3–4 minutes. A status LED clearly indicates:
- Target temperature reached
- Sublimation in progress
- Heating phase
An integrated system protects the battery from deep discharge. It automatically shuts down the device when the charge is too low, preserving battery life.

The MINI Cordless Sprint includes three high-strength copper diffuser tubes, easily swappable depending on the hive type:
- S-shaped tube: treatment through the hive entrance
- 90° curved tube: top treatment via feeder hole

Although this version does not have a display, the temperature control system is highly accurate. It uses a platinum temperature sensor integrated into the boiler. The temperature is factory preset to optimal levels and cannot be changed by the user.
The system is entirely designed and manufactured in Italy with high-quality components specifically for oxalic acid vaporisers. Operation is very simple: just insert the battery to turn on the device. A red/green LED indicates the device status (heating, ready, in sublimation, battery status, and other info detailed in the manual).

SPRINT model (with spring plunger): this model has a rapid dosing system consisting of an adjustable spring plunger. The adjustment allows the dose to be set from 1 to 4 grams by simply turning the knob.
At the end of the treatment, the plunger is pulled out, pressed onto the oxalic acid powder and inserted into the seat, and the knob is pressed on. The acid falls off and sublimation begins. If you treat with 2 grams of oxalic acid, after 25 seconds you repeat the cycle.
