Our ready-to-go bee hive supers are for beekeepers who would rather spend spring with the bees than with a paintbrush. Each one pairs a premium box of seasoned, knot-free New Zealand pine that has been hot wax dipped and given three coats of acrylic, with a full set of frames you choose when ordering: eight for an 8F box, ten for a 10F. Boxes are screwed with galvanised steel and have four deep hand grips.
Pick the depth first. A full depth super can serve as a brood box or a deep honey box, while WSP and Ideal are shallower and lighter to carry once capped with honey. All three depths come in 8F and 10F. Then choose frames. The timber options are wired with 304 stainless steel, six wires in full depth, four in WSP and two in Ideal, and come waxed and ready for the hive or bare for your own foundation. Full depth also offers Beemax plastic frames, and WSP a timber frame with plastic foundation fitted.
Ready-to-go bee hive supers are one level of the hive, so no base or lid is included. Put a queen excluder under any honey super and a beehive cover on top, or, starting from scratch, see our assembled brood boxes with base and cover. Unsure whether your hives are 8F or 10F? Our Perth and Sydney staff can help.
