A children's beekeeping suit lets a young helper stand beside the hive with you rather than watching from the back door. Each kids bee suit here is full length, with YKK zips, padded knees and ankle elastic closed off by a zip and Velcro lock, so a curious bee can't wander up a trouser leg. There's no polycotton in the range, as it traps heat badly in Australian conditions, and sizes run from 5XS up to 1XS.
Choosing comes down to fabric and veil. The 100% cotton suit is a heavy 315gsm weave, available in every size from 5XS to 1XS with a round veil, and in selected sizes with a Euro/fencing style veil. For hot spring and summer afternoons, the Premium Vented Triple Layer version lets air move through its mesh layers; it comes with the fencing veil in 1XS and 2XS, the two largest sizes. Children grow quickly, so check the size chart on each children's beekeeping suit and leave room for a jumper underneath on cool mornings.
