A Königin tangential extractor is a compact way into German-built stainless extraction for a backyard or small-apiary harvest. Frames sit face-out around the basket: spin one side clean, reverse the frames, then spin the other. Choose a hand-cranked or electric model. In each one the barrel, basket, cover and honey outlet are AISI 304 stainless above a conical base, and the outlet sits 350mm high.
Before you buy, match the drum to the supers you actually harvest. The 3-frame manual Königin tangential extractor spins three frames at a time, sized from Manley up to full depth. The 4/8-frame machines with a 500mm drum hold four frames at full depth, WSP or Manley height and reach eight only with Ideals. If your honey comes off in WSP or Manley supers, the electric model with the larger 630mm drum spins eight of them per load while still taking four full depth. Both electric versions are 230V machines, a 12V DC setup is optional, and you can pick full-auto programmed timing or semi-auto control. Each machine travels in a wooden crate to your nearest TOLL or TNT depot.
Uncap every frame first with our honey uncapping tools, and let the honey gate drain into honey buckets and pails. If reversing frames by hand starts to drag, a Königin self-turning extractor flips them mid-cycle.
