Beewise Marked Mated Bee Queens are first generation Rottnest daughters - carefully bred and mated under controlled conditions to ensure they are:

• Excellent foragers
• Hygienic
• Gentle
• Superb comb builders
• Clean/excellent housekeepers, & hence less prone to disease
• Use little propolis
• Reduced tendency to swarm
• Tendency to collect flower honey rather than honey dew

For top performance, Queens should be replaced if:

1. Your beehive is aggressive
2. The beehive is performing poorly, e.g. disease, poor laying pattern
3. The queen is more than two years old
